Script to Screen: Download the WANDAVISION Pilot

Happy Screenplay Saturday Stage 32!
I hope you all had a beautiful and creative week. I was catching up on the trades this week (following the very sage wisdom of our founder and CEO Richard "RB" Botto: Always read the trades and know what is going on in the business of entertainment!) and I came across an article from Deadline Hollywood about the pilot script of Marvel/Disney+'s WandaVision.
This episode is a fascinating introduction to a series unlike anything else in the Marvel universe. This pilot was written in the style of a 1950s sitcom, and was actually filmed in front of a live studio audience. Take note of the scene descriptions involving more stage direction than usual - since this was filmed live, every actor crossing the set, camera movement, and prop interaction, was staged and planned ahead of time.
No matter what hat you wear in the industry, reading scripts is a great way to flex your creative filmmaking muscles. So grab your libation of choice and snuggle up with this delightful weekend read.
