Happy Saturday Stage 32!

I hope you all had a beautiful and creative week. I was catching up on the trades this week (following the very sage wisdom of our founder and CEO Richard "RB" Botto: Always read the trades and know what is going on in the business of entertainment!) and I came across an article from Deadline Hollywood about Sofia Coppola's most recent movie On the Rocks.

17 years after her Oscar-nomination for Best Original Screenplay for Lost in Translation, Sofia Coppola joined forces with Bill Murray again, adding Rashida Jones to play opposite of him in the father-daughter dramedy On the Rocks. The film is currently available to watch on Apple TV+, and now, courtesy of Deadline, you can read the full script online!

No matter what hat you where in the industry, reading scripts (both good and bad) is a great way to flex your creative filmmaking muscles. So grab your libation of choice and snuggle up with this delightful weekend read.

Hello Charles K. Frazier, Film, like all artistic mediums, is totally subjective! To each their own. I'm curious - did you see any differences between the script and the final product of the film?
