Annaliese Morgan is an author, and formerly, a highly recognised Advanced Veterinary Surgical Nurse in the UK. She co-authored a book on veterinary anaesthesia and analgesia in 1999 for the BSAVA, which is still used by practices today. In 2007 and 2009 she was sought after to write 3 books (NVQ2, NVQ3 and A-Z for Veterinary Nurses) to help students pass their veterinary nursing exams. In 2008 she opened the first pet health spa in the UK and published Desperate Housepets - Become a Chic Pet Owner Without Being a Bitch in 2014.
Annaliese has always been an avid writer, but after recovery from a near fatal motorbike accident and then divorce in 2009, her world changed. She realised her most important asset was herself, her children, her creativity and giving themselves the best life possible.
With a high sense of style, and a love for the supernatural and metaphysical worlds, she realised how influential she had become in the lives of her children and their friends simply by listening and encouraging them to fearlessly follow their dreams and talents. Having lost her own brother to suicide, Annaliese understands the challenges young and new adults carry with them, and the pressure of a sedated society. Her mission is to encourage young people to embrace being unique individuals and to stand out in a world of followers.
Shifting gears in all aspects of her life, Annaliese now writes magic realism and contemporary fiction for older teens and new adults. Due to demand, she also writes about aspects of her unique life and style on social media and her blog. She is currently finishing up her long anticipated Young Adult fiction novel to be released in 2020.
