Hi, and thanks for reading. First let me state the obvious. I love movies. I love watching them, and I love writing them. So with that said, I think I'm in the right place with many terrific, and like-minded people.
My history regarding movies is this. I've written, directed, (and edited) two full length indie films. The first being (a glbt coming of age story) titled The Book Club (2006) ?ref_=fn_al_nm_1a and the second, a mockumentary/rockumentary (comedy) called Velveteen Muff (2009). ?ref_=fn_al_tt_1
Both were fun to make, and required a lot of hard work. And even though they're super low budget, (which seemed to piss off a lot of non-filmmaking people at the time) I'm glad I made them, and am still very proud of those two movies. No regrets.
But then I tried something else. I co-wrote (with my brother) and published a middle-grade novel called Horrific Tales of Woodland Manor. That book should really be made into a movie. Just saying.
Anyway, I realized screenwriting was my preferred creative outlet and I missed doing it! But then years, and years were suddenly behind me. What the literal F? So now I'm back, and I just want to write great scripts, and see where that takes me.
Unique traits: Although not very unique, I like to run. It hurts my back but clears my mind. (I should probably just stretch more).
