About Tita

I write plays about ordinary people who take extraordinary actions for justice and fairness. In the last four years, I've written three stage plays and one screenplay - and by March will have a second screenplay based on/riffed off one of the stage scripts. Early drafts of one have placed in 4 contests, two have had table readings - one with actors Maryann Plunkett , Antonio Minino, Bill Kozy, Patricia Lynn, John Nelson; one with actors Arthur French, Hamilton Meadows, Miranda Noelle Wilson, Michael A. Jones, Connie Winston, John Long, Eli Gelb, John Nelson.

I've studied in workshops led by playwrights Neal Bell, Jackie Sibblies Drury, Arthur Giron, Emily Mann, Rogelio Martinez, Winter Miller as well as directors Anne Bogart and Travis Preston and with dramaturgs Collette Brooks, Hal Croasmun (his 6 month online Pro Series and 14 month Master Screenwriting Class), and weekend workshops with Syd Fields, Robert McKee, John Truby
