Completed an undergraduate degree cum laude in 2013, with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Creative Writing with a Dramatic Arts minor. - Completed a Masters of Theatre Arts degree in 2015. Worked as a teaching graduate assistant in the English department during the pursuit of my MA.
I studied carefully and work hard to earn high grades while still maintaining friendships and positions of leadership on campus. I love people and working with them. I tend to keep the big picture in mind as I work on the little aspects of a job. I love to write and to work with drama. It is important to me that I work hard and focus to accomplish the task as efficiently and well done as possible.
Most of my drama experience has been in grassroots theatre endeavors and through the opportunities the masters program provided.
I grew up in Aurora, CO, and my life is permeated with a western mindset. I am flexible, open to new ideas, and willing to accept people for who they are today--no matter what their past is like. I want to continue writing scripts and engaging in grassroots theatre works. I would love to eventually pursue an MFA in playwriting to improve my abilities and enable me to teach on a collegiate level.
