About Daniil

Hi. I'm an animation director from Russia. Along with creating animated shorts I produce comedy skits, experiment with editing and draw the weirdest of my fantasies. I grew up in 2000s on Adult Swim cartoons, videogames and YTP.
I've tried to watch Tarkovskiy, Fellini and Bergman, and I do get visual metaphors and subtext in their films, but I can't enjoy them. I'm too short-tempered to watch a movie without any exciting bait for me to take.
I might be a jerk if I find something boring. Nothing drives me more crazy than boredom.

P.S. You know what else drives me crazy? Goddamn image compression on this website. It sprays .jpeg all over the place and turns hard-planned detailed pics into a mess of pixels. Even VK, the Russian Facebook, doesn't compress pictures as much as they are compressed on S32. God didn't intend .jpeg artefacts, don't go against God, alright? This here is a sin. Just check out my art album, this website sodomizes it.

Unique traits: I can animate in MS Paint. I know plenty of programs for this, but Paint provides me the necessary challenge. You know, to keep things spicy.
