About Carla

Originally from the San Fernando Valley in Southern California. Now stranded in Tucson, Arizona where I work as a police dispatcher.

I've optioned two feature length screenplays and two short film scripts, wrote a book called 'Mean, a Collection of Short Stories about the Indestructible Human Spirit,' and won a bunch of screenplay competitions and film festivals. But I've been itching to be more involved in the filmmaking process and so this year launched my own production company, Uphill Battle Productions. Our first short film is in pre-production, 'The Best Life,' scheduled for filming in November 2020 with an all female cast and crew.

Here's to all who are out there giving it their best shot! It's never too late to make dreams come true.

Unique traits: Indestructible
