Happy Birthday, Bugs!: 50 Looney Years (1990)
TV Movie (Animation, Comedy, Documentary and Family) Miscellaneous Crew In 1990, it was 50 years since Bugs Bunny first appeared on film in a recognizable form and outwitted hunter Elmer Fudd. To commemorate the subsequent half-century-long career of the most famous cartoon rabbit in history, this prime-time television special was produced and featured several Hollywood stars stating their affection and admiration for Bugs, intercut with clips from various of Bugs' cartoons and comments by legendary cartoon directors Chuck Jones and Friz Freleng. Newswomen Murphy Brown and Downtown Julie Brown report in front of the hospital on Mother Nature's condition. Popular astronomer Carl Sagan talks about the greenhouse effect. In Search of... (1980 - 1981)
