Originally hailing from Colorado, I grew up in the suburbs of Denver. When I was in middle school, my parents moved me up to Estes Park where I attended high school. I always loved the arts and was in shows ever since I was little. I knew when i was young that being in the arts was what I wanted to do when I grew up and I did everything I could to prepare myself. I was in every show I could be in and when it was time for me to go to college, I choose a school that was very hands on so I could learn as much as possible.
I graduated from Stephens College in Columbia, MO with my Bachelor of Arts in Theater Arts with an emphasis on performance in just three years. The great thing about Stephens is that they have a very intense curriculum and is more of an apprenticeship type of program. We learned as much as we wanted to about the business. I was fortunate to not only hone my performing but also learn how to design, install lighting, build sets, direct, and run the business side of things. While most of my training is theater oriented, I have worked on a few student film projects in the past and am familiar with many of the differences that are needed for film. What I don't know I'm a very fast learner!
My husband and I recently moved to Orlando, Florida and I am eager to start work down in the Florida area. I am a person who enjoys staying busy and the more hats I can wear on a job the better. I would love to network with you and if you have an open spot on a project I would love to help you out!!!
