About George

George Kalyvas was born and raised in Athens, Greece in the year 1985. Musically he started taking piano lessons at the age of 10 for about 4 years. Later when he finished high school he started to take lesson in guitar and theory of music. He graduated with a degree in "Special Harmony" from the National Conservatory of Athens. At the same time he was working as a guitarist with many famous Greek artist from 2005 to 2011 and later in the year 2014 he started to compose his own music in the genre of Orchestral/Hybrid music starting his career as a composer for films. In 2014 he composed the music for an Australian short film called “The Army Within” and later on the same year he credited as “Additional Music” in the American feature film “Set me Free”. For the year 2015 he already signed to work for 3 short films with directors from 3 different countries.
