About Hillary

I am an aspiring Production Designer. I have a Master's Degree in Film and Television Production from the University of Bristol in Bristol, UK and a Bachelor's Degree in Theatre from Occidental College in Los Angeles, California. I am seeking a crew position in the art department as a set dresser or an art production assistant. I have experience in set and costume design, set dressing, costuming, as a buyer, and as a production assistant. I am proficient in both Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator.

An an undergraduate, I worked in the costume shop as an assistant to the costume designer for the main stage productions at Occidental College. I studied abroad my junior year at the University of Bristol where I designed the costumes for a short film entitled Hide and Seek. The culmination of the four year undergraduate program is a comprehensive final year project. For my final project, I designed costumes for a hypothetical high concept film production of William Shakespeare's Macbeth. During my postgraduate studies at the University of Bristol I was the production designer for two short films: a four minute short comedy, Private Number and my dissertation film, Dirty Talk. I designed, sourced, and managed the costumes, sets and props for both films.

I have recently worked as the Production Designer on Don't Come Around Here from Running Wild Films which is set to premiere at The Oxford Film Festival in Oxford, MS in February 2017. Additionally, I worked as the Production Designer on the Bobcat Boys from Abby Normal Pictures, Production Designer/Set Decorator on several short films and music videos, an Assistant Decorator/Set Dec Assistant on Confidential from Big Easy Pictures, and an Art Assistant on The Magnificent Seven from M7 Productions and on a commercial with Countertake Productions.
