Jason W. Brooks, Esq.

I am a Los Angeles native with an undergraduate degree from UCSD. After earning his J.D. from the University of Wisconsin in 2006, I returned to LA to pursue my legal career. After practicing in civil litigation for several years, I decided to follow my true passion for working with the creative community. I've since been working as a transactional entertainment attorney in all aspects of development, promotion and production of motion pictures, television, new media, and tech ventures. I love counseling like-minded entrepreneurs, entertainment professionals, and emerging companies.

I am also actively involved in the startup and legal communities of the greater Los Angeles area, including the Westside’s acclaimed “Silicon Beach.” An executive committee member of the Beverly Hills Bar Association’s IP, Internet & New Media section, I have spoken on various legal panels and workshops. In my spare time, I am also an avid surfer and an LA County Ocean Lifeguard. And if meeting in an office isn’t your "thing," I am happy to schedule a consultation or strategy session out in the water.
