Arena Stage, Shakespeare Theatre at the Folger The Source Theatre, American Conservatory Theatre and more. These are some of the stages I have worked on before taking my sabbatical for health and personal reasons. At this juncture in my life I am looking forward to creating a wonderful life full of love and creativity in Theatre and Film. I am happily married (my second) and in a space that is conducive to me being able to be true to myself with my husbands full support. My daughter is grown and living in L.A. We have a most magnificent relationship and a deep mother/ daughter bond that also feeds my spirit -I am so proud of that girl! I am a graduate of Howard University College of Fine Arts. I fell in love with acting as a young girl when I was taken to New York to see The Wiz and Timbuktu for my birthday. I was mesmerized, elated, overwhelmed and every other adjective you can name that imparts a sense of amazement. I was hooked. From that time on I pursued acting. I was able to attend a performing arts high school in Harrisburg Pa, where I moved to at age 15. I became heavily involved in the community theatre scene there and was devoted to honing my craft and training my instrument.
