About Maristella

Since I was a child I work with the deep nature of images (the ones that exist before and after words). I'm in love with stories... I studied cinema, I got PhD in Screenwriting, studied Film Writing and Creative Writing at Columbia University in New York. I published a book of poems, one of short-stories, I translate from English and French into Italian (poems, novels, interviews and short-stories). I teach creative writing, work as a script editor. As a director I shot some music videos and a short-movie in super 16 mm that was selected in more than thirty festivals. I attend some theater labs and contemporary dance courses not to become an actress or a dancer but to better understand how to work dialogue and action in that empty body space called Actor...
