About Nathan

I specialize in Cinematic Visuals and most often work as a Director of Photography. I am a visual storyteller, and understand the significance and importance of composition, color, lighting, shadow, focus depth, camera placement and movement. I visually define the subtext of the scene, and tell a story by the visuals I create.

In addition to cinematography, I am a cinematic photographer, as well as fight choreographer and stunt performer. I've been actively involved in Tactical Martial Arts, CQC, Reactive Knife, and Stick Fighting nearly my entire life. Much of my training was in France and Tahiti.

My diversity on the set and passion for filmmaking culminate in post production as I apply my skill sets to editing with seamless cuts and a keen eye for continuity and pacing.

My most recent work has been partnering with "See~Worthy Films" as their Director of Photography and Editor for "In Sanity, Florida", now streaming it's first season on Amazon Prime.

Aside from Filmmaking and Martial Arts, among my most rewarding moments in life, has been my continuing involvement at Wisconsin Big Cat Rescue, where we rescue and provide a safe and natural environment for over 30 (formerly, until they came to us...) abused, neglected, and unwanted Tigers, Lions, and Leopards.
