About Ray

Ray Shasho published his first novel entitled Check the Gs, a comical and awe-inspiring novel about growing up in the family business. Shasho subsequently released a second edition entitled, Wacky Shenanigans on F Street-Proud to be Politically-Incorrect in Washington D.C.
In 2010, Ray Shasho became a classic rock music journalist in St. Petersburg, Florida. It started out as a fun gig to help promote his book but something very extraordinary transformed. Shasho began covering concerts and music events around the Tampa Bay area and decided to take a crack at interviewing some of the rock music legends that he idolized all of his life.
Ray quickly became one of the top music journalists in the country. His column is read by thousands of music enthusiasts daily and Shasho’s in-depth interviews, album and concert reviews are featured on artist websites around the globe.
Currently, Ray is the director of The Publicity Works Agency, a public relations firm specializing in publicity plans for musicians and authors. Ray is also the host of Interviewing the Legends: Rock Stars & Celebs. Ray spotlights exclusive interviews with both legendary and up and coming music artists & authors. Ray also features the movers and shakers of the music and publishing industries and suggests important methods for getting the most out of your public relations and marketing methods.
Ray has completed his next book entitled … THE ROCK STAR CHRONICLES ‘Over ‘45’ Intimate Conversations with the Legends That Set Us Free’ SERIES 1 available now everywhere!
Ray has also finished writing a comedy pilot that he is currently pitching for a sitcom. Its based on true events from his book Check the Gs.
‘Retail Baby’ is based on a true story and set in downtown Washington D.C., in 1979. The show follows the misadventures and mishaps of an eclectic sales staff that work at an unconventional family-owned retail store.
