Rocco Vitalia
Originally from back east and a "City Boy" at heart, Rocco is the eldest of two brothers and a true Italian in every sense of the word. As a young performer he was taught by his Mother Margaritt to recite poetry and act out characters. Using his afternoon class as a stage, He became the Class clown and periodically amused his classmates with impersonations of his teachers. Rocco was intrigued with performing in school plays and drama class, so this was a natural way to express himself in an artistic way. Because of his fascination of this Art form, he also became very comfortable learning about the history of cinema and of the entertainment world early on as a drama student in High school. Doing Theatre he found his niche and loved taking center stage and he knew his life was acting and that's why he stayed focused and constantly prepared to achieve his dream. It was not until attending USC Film School that his life changed drastically while pursuing a degree in Architecture that he was chosen to work on a low budget film. Rocco was coached by Jeanne Santer- “Young Stars of Hollywood” and Charles Welton his close friend and role model. Rocco became a student of Ivan Markota as well as David Lee Strasberg at Lee Strasberg Theatre & Film Institute and many other well-known instructors. Rocco has had various roles in film, TV commercials, industrial film and plays, also notable work with Award-Winning writers and directors. Rocco’s theater credits range from Pasadena Playhouse to San Diego Theaters and many others. He has portrayed many familiar Characters and having a combination of talent, luck and persistence...He will walk with his head up high and pursue applauses from his peers for that coveted gold statue which is one of the highest accolades in the industry. He is working on several films in development and is studying and improving his talents as a writer and director.
