  • Quien Eres Tu

    Quien Eres Tu (2015)
Film (short) by Roger Hill (Family, Romance, Music, Animation and 1 More) Producer, Writer, Special effects, Editor Unique coming together of UK, USA and Israeli artists. A song written by UK's Roger Hill and Rick Tiger from Nashville inspired renowned Israeli sand artist Ilana Yahav, to create a performance to it. This ancient art form is still used in many cultures including Hispanic, Native American, Asian and others worldwide in religious and healing ceremony's, and in popular entertainment such as Sesame Street's, Sand Alphabet. The one off, minimalist creation in sand by Ilana, using a translucent back-lit projection table, gives an almost eerie sense of the fleeting nature of love and life as the images appear and disappear, and interprets the romantic lyric and plaintive melody of the song in a way that reaches deeper into the heart.

  • Tribes

    Tribes (2015)
Film by Mindwiring/Roger Hill (Drama, Thriller, Music, Musical and 2 More) Camera and Executive Producer 'A troubled girl wanders into the wilderness trying to reconcile the proud history of her race, and it's place in modern society' The suicide rate for Native American youth is nearly three times that of any other racial group. This short video and music, attempts to highlight the issue as sensitively as possible, without pointing fingers, rather an attempt to join hands in unity and through our common humanity, stop this tragedy. The video features a specially recorded beautiful Iroquois chant by Grammy winner Joanne Shenandoah and a new Native rap star Lightfoot Wiley. Senator Byron Dorgan (ret), founder of the Center for Native American Youth in Washington, DC., supports the project and provided the background information on the issue. Indian youth suicide cannot be looked at in a historical vacuum, Dorgan said. The agony on the the reservations is directly tied to a 'trail of broken promises to American Indians' All the players in the video are Native American
