Teddy Sabutey worked through the mill, since 1981 in the film and television productions industry, beginning as non-staff production runner, at the then Ghana film Corporation and member of its theatre company, the then, Ghana Film theatre Company through which he had the chance to work on some of the then Ghana film Corporation productions, as well as worked with other local and international production outfits, like:

Teddy Sabutey has participated in various capacity building workshops over the years, which include Bournemouth University Sponsored Script-net Producers Workshop.
