Focused, driven and highly cine-literate writer/director who enjoys working primarily in narrative fiction but also has experience in the promotional, corporate and music video fields.
Having started the company Apple Park Films I began development of my first feature film 'Little Pieces' which was completed in early 2015 and is currently garnering critical acclaim. I wrote and directed the piece.
My writing and directing interests are focused in the thriller genre but I have also written drama and comedy scripts. My work has been praised for its authentic dialogue and understanding of genre.
I also work as a freelance video editor having edited promo's, short films, documentaries and music videos. I can currently edit using any of the AAA (Apple, Avid and Adobe) group of NLE systems allowing me to meet your workflow needs. I have completed and AVID certified course. I can also use DaVinci Resolve colour grading software.

Film by Straw Lane Productions Composer Slaughter is the feature film debut of writer and director Juno Jakob and takes horror back to its nasty, gritty and often tongue in cheek roots of the 1970's and 80's. The film follows escaped mental patient David Ward as he hides in his derelict caravan spending his days hiding from the police and doctors and filming himself raping and murdering while police slowly discover his crimes and get closer to him. The film is told from two view points. The traditional third person camera and David's own Hi8 camcorder.
