Agata O'Hare was born in Chicago, Illinois to immigrants from Poland who are deaf. Her father is a machinist and her mother is a housewife. She is an only child whose father instilled in her a passion for traveling, nature, languages, and sports. She is proficient in Polish and American Sign Language.
Agata was always interested in human behavior which paved the way into acting in college. She has played roles that consist of being a young mother, a strong-witted detective, and a raunchy feline.
While at Columbia College Chicago, she has studied under the likes of Sheldon Patinkin, Cecilie O'Reilly, and Wendi Webber. She also attended Act One Studios in the Meisner Program under Eileen Vorbach, Ted Hoerl, and Lauren Sturm.
