Since leaving Drama school in 2005, Andy has established himself as one of the UK’s most engaging actors.
Raised in the small country village of Hartley Wintney west of London, Andy loved his football, puppets and not really wanting to grow up. He had a suspicion that he may want to act towards the end of school. However, its pursuit was still to be ten years off. University took him into Landscape Architecture with a Sales career to follow. The urge to act continued throughout this time and to be honest bugged the living hell out of him. He then went on a yearlong adventure to South America to sort things out. Happily on his return he finally decided to front the acting urge and see what all the fuss was about.
After his initial shock at being one of the oldest at Drama school his journey so far has been pretty amazing. He played Skunkhair Tom Wallace in the Emmy and Golden Globe Award winning series HATFIELDS & MCCOYS starring Kevin Costner and Bill Paxton. He is known for his roles in CROSSING LINES starring William Fitchner, THE HOUR, FIVE DAUGHTERS, CRIMINAL JUSTICE and a host of other fine shows. His film credits include RISEN, HEREAFTER and THE THREE MUSKETEERS. He also played Jack in the 2011 BAFTA Award winning Best Short Film UNTIL THE RIVER RUNS RED.
