The Stage 32 Sci-Fi/Fantasy Screenwriting Contest - the longest-running contest of its kind in the world - has connected writers like you with the producers, managers, and executives actively developing the next generation of genre storytelling. This isn't about winning a trophy and going home. It's about opening the door to your career.
The Stage 32 Difference: Everyone hands out trophies. We do something different - we go to work for you. Over 13 years, Stage 32 contests have helped writers get representation, get optioned, get staffed, and get produced. Your win doesn't end with an announcement; it starts there.
Recent Stage 32 winners have signed with major agencies like Verve and 3 Arts Entertainment, been hired into writers' rooms, and seen their scripts produced by Lionsgate and beyond. When you win with us, we roll up our sleeves and help you take your project to market.

As our Grand Prize Winner, you'll be set up on meetings with top industry pros like who have worked on projects like SEVERANCE, SILO, WORLD WAR Z, IT'S WHAT'S INSIDE, and more! What They Are Looking For and How They Can Help You!
"I’ve always held a strong admiration for the development stage of a writer's work because that’s where the ideas take shape and the real magic begins. In my writer discussions, there's a strong focus on bringing clarity to character, world building and the root of what the writer is looking to say. I specialize in uncovering a story's emotional truth and guiding it towards something commercially appealing without losing its heart."
