With television, film and publishing projects in various stages of pre-production and development, Beth Lauren is building her own brand of entertainment. In October 2015 her self-published memoir Reeling: Misadventures in Moviemaking, Money and Love will be available at major retailers and online with a launch scheduled for in NYC. In September2014 she shot a sizzle reel for the dramatic television pilot Nocturnal Attorney. Beth is currently developing another series: Picasso Blues, a caper featuring an all female crew as well as the television adaptation of Reeling. She is in active discussions with interested investors for the romantic comedy Emotional Rescue, which she plans to shoot in Spring 2016, and she has two additional feature scripts in development; the drama After September and In Reel Time,a thriller. Previously, she wrote and
produced the feature film, Fairytale of New York, which premiered at the New Filmmakers Series 2000 in NYC and produced,directed and wrote the short films: Immaculate Concoction and Getting Ned, and the one-act play, Clean,which had a limited run off, off–Broadway in 2003,and is also being adapted for the screen.
Beth was Director of Development for the National Comedy Center in Jamestown, NY from September 2015-August 2016. She is currently the Development Officer for Lady Parts Justice , a reproductive rights non-profit founded by Lizz Winstead, comedian and co-creator of The Daily Show.
