DAVID CHARPENTIER is a writer, director and producer currently living in New York.
A former architectural designer and photographer, David has also written for a number of online magazines and media journals. He made the full-time jump to film making in 2011 when he enrolled in the Masters of Filmmaking program at Boston University, and later cemented his status with the award-winning student short, “Aperitif.”
After directing and editing the award-winning short“Ghost Light,” David wrote and directed a couple of episodes of the online series "The Bench Project" and wrote several episodes of the currently in-production newsroom-drama, The Colston Brief.
In 2014, David helped produce his first large scale project with Create Entertainment, the Indian-American sitcom Brown Nation. He later served as associate producer and production manager on Martin Rosete’s debut feature film, Money, currently wrapping post-production and starring Kellan Lutz and Jamie Bamber. He continues to work with the team at Create as a producer and director, as well as freelancing as a art director and cinematographer.
