About Chris

Hi, I'm Chris Le Roy and a mature age entrant into the film world. At 43, I am embarking on a career re-direction that I have wanted to undertake for the past 30 years.

I have a background in computer programming and 3D & 2D Animation, and I am now pursuing an opportunity to bring to life some of the characters, worlds and scripts I have written over my life time, into feature films, television or web based series.

I am currently filming a number of short films, my favorite, The Noise, which is an experimental horror short film, that embarks on telling a Horrow story, without ever seeing the characters faces or hearing their actual voices, using a Samsung Galaxy Phone.

In July 2016, I will be embark on a 2 year conservatory study program at the New York Film Academy on the Gold Coast to hone my skills as a Director and Writer.

I am really excited to be involved in this industry again, and I am looking forward to networking and getting to know others in the industry both here in Australia, US and Europe. I would love to share ideas on experimental ways we can improve films out there today, to bring the audience back into the cinemas.

Always happy to catch up and talk to anyone when it comes to develop a film, tv show or webseries. Oh and thanks for any help you share with me as well.
