Andrzej Kamrowski, born in Poland, studied film in the Polish Film School in Lodz, Poland. Invited to the United States by Gary Essert, the founder of the Los Angeles International Film Festival (FILMEX), to participate in the 1983 FILMEX. Owner and president of Cineaste Group, Inc.

    SOUTH OF SUNSET Budget: $100K - $1M | Comedy Crime It's a tale of a thirty-something suicidal writer who has been dumped hard by his girlfriend.  He's trying to cope with his trauma as his life is being interrupted by a desperate Russian lady barging into his Hollywood apartment.  She is on the run from her Russian mobster boyfriend who's armed and psychotic.   Most of the action takes place in your typical mid-century Hollywood apartment building with all units overlooking a kidney-shaped pool.   Rear Window/ The Tenant would be good style references.
