Online Pitchfest III: Horror Week

Online Pitchfest III: Horror Week

Entry Fee (Skype or Written): $45 per session

Online Pitchfest III: Horror Week We are excited to announce Stage 32 and The Happy Writers Horror Week! We welcome all our Stage 32 writers to pitch your scripts to executives who specialize in the **horror** or **thriller** genre. Pitches can be done via Skype or, if you are unable to use Skype, can be submitted as a written pitch. ### What is a horror film? If it spooks or scares or makes you shutter, it's horror! If your script creeps or frightens then you should be participating in Horror Week pitches. Horror doesn't just mean slasher films. One of the Happy Writers' biggest success stories is with Richard Hobley's script *Raven Court* that was picked up by Level 1 Entertainment. It's a horror and there is hardly an ounce of blood! Writers who write psychological thrillers should also pitch during this themed week! ### Who should be pitching? Anyone with a horror or thriller script with the thought of having a company produce, manage or help finance your script. Please choose whom you'd like to pitch to and your preferred time slot (if pitching via Skype). You can pitch to as many companies as you would like, as long as the time is available. You will be contacted by The Happy Writers and notified of instructions and your pitching time prior to pitch date. You must agree to The Happy Writers guidelines in order to sign up for your pitch session.
