Hailing from country Queensland, Danae found her love of performance early. She trained as a Classical Dancer but soon found her personality too much for the likes of a ballerina.
Danae has trained professionally for stage and screen with The National Theatre Drama School and in 2012 wrote, composed and produced for stage her first Melbourne production, a musical. She has since been focusing on the screen and in 2015 was cast in 10 film projects as well as writing and producing her first film “Medicine” recruiting up and coming directorial talent Eddie Diamandi. Medicine will be filmed in Melbourne in April 2016. Danae is also set to star alongside Dean Kirkright & Chloe Grice in Sebastain Torres' "The Court" filming in Melbourne in 2016 and has just completed working on indie drama "Tilt" written by David Tonkin.
As well as an actress she is a writer, lyricist and singer and is represented by BGM Agency.
