I am a Southern California native, enjoy the music of Etta James, drink of choice is Jameson on the rocks, and I am the author of the published children's books "Bella the Crooked Hat Witch" (written under my pen name), "Caleb's Birthday Wish," "The Misadventures of Mel B," and the humor memoir "In the Land of Misfits" which has been my best reviewed book. I have three more children's books slated for release in 2016/2017.

I am transitioning into screenwriting and have completed a screenplay adaptation of my memoir "In the Land of Misfits" (Imagine AUNTIE MAME meets BAD GRANDPA, and with the hopes of getting Kathy Bates to play my kooky granny in the movie), a screenplay adaptation of my children's novel "The Misadventures of Mel B" (imagine JURASSIC PARK but for kids 6-12), and I've written a comedy TV show pilot about 3 sassy older women (imagine THE GOLDEN GIRLS meets THE FIRST WIVES CLUB).
