Your most important asset in this industry is yourself. So, start investing. Your most important asset in life is eternal life and inner peace.
"Experience is what you get when you don't get what you wanted." Randy Pausch (The last lecture)
I would like to work in what I love and studied for, but as long as I don't, I do all that is at hand. I mainly work as a Tour Guide / Tour Leader in Buenos Aires city and provide a number of services. I'm the manager of foreigners' properties.
"No one cares about what you’ve done and where you’ve been, but rather what solution you can provide." Hannah Morgan, Job Search, Career and Social Media Strategist.
"Don't expect that a zappy resumé and Adobe applications out is going to get you the job you're looking for. Find someone who knows your work ethic, and who is willing to put their name on the line and recommend you honestly and enthusiastically." Nick Corcodilos, How to Change Carreers.
«There is no power on Earth that can neutralize the influence of a high, simple and useful life.» ~ Booker T. Washington
No matter what I say next, in the end of the day it'd be better for you to know me and give me the chance to prove it.
Hi! I come from Argentina. Musician, Actor. Cultivated person, as a major part of Argentines are. Knowledge of Literature, History, Art History, Film and Film theory, Theatre, Music Theory and Sound.
I became interested in Theatre and Music when I was a kid. I have performed in Theatre plays ever since elementary school. I studied Theatre in Highschool and then Music and Sound Technology in College (Universidad Nacional de Quilmes), I play the piano and I studied singing (baritone register). I attended an Acting course at Lito Cruz Studio (Strasberg Method Acting among others). Attended a course on Performing in front of the camera. Interested of Alba Emoting Method, Body Language Theory, Paul Ekman's Theory of Microgestures, Robert Plutchik's Theory of Emotions, Applied Psychology and Neurosciences.
I consider myself being enthusiastic, and very curious.
I speak very good Italian and Swedish, very good command of English (Brittish & Irish, or dialects such as American English), elementary French. Spanish as mother tongue.
I was hired as a choir baritone for the Fidelio opera choir in 2007. I worked as vocal coach and choir conductor at Sweden Embassy in Buenos Aires in 2010.
I have been interviewed by Swedish media (TV, newspaper, radio) and was involved in a documentary which was broadcasted October 2011 because I learned Swedish by self-teaching but could never afford a trip to Sweden until then. I have visited several places in Italy, France and Scandinavia, which represents an important contribution to my worldview and general knowledge.
In order to be an actor or a filmmaker you have to know how to sweep, wash glasses and clean the toilets, take care of people, be a vendor in a shop, a teacher, a carpenter, a plumber or a gardener, you have to be a delivery man, a truck driver, a farmhand, a bricklayer or a scavenger. You have to be an warm-blooded athlete and a cold-blooded astronaut. Master some living languages, and some dead ones. Be very mature and so childish. Macho and queer. Friend and enemy. Sane and totally crazy. It's not enough to be a car driver, you have to fly a commercial plane. It's not enough to be handsome or lose stage fright. Not enough to be natural, you must look real. Not enough to have a tongue and talk, but to have a story and tell it. Nor enough to know everything from the words themselves, what counts is knowing in practice. Nothing is ever enough for those who want to overcome themselves. To be an actor or a filmmaker you must know how to do things or pretend doing them truthfully. You must first learn to shift for yourself and be a useful person in the first place...
Thank you for taking the time. Looking forward to collaborating with you!
