About Alberto

I am a 23-year-old filmmaker from Montreal and have experience in directing, producing and scriptwriting. I am a University graduate with a BA in Communication Studies (with film production). There, I studied media and its cultural impact along with core film production courses where I practiced digital and analog (Super 16, Bolex, Aaton) filmmaking. I run D'Onofrio Films where I self-produce, direct, write, and produce local filmmaking talent and The Backrow Productions where I co-produce live event and commercial videos. Since 2011, my short films have received exposure in Montreal and New York festivals, an incredible experience that I hope to revisit and currently developing multiple short films with that desire to submit to festivals and gain exposure. While I continue working on independent projects, I am looking to apply to directorial jobs in order to gain more experience and continue to grow my connections in the industry. I am very much ooking forward to accomplishing this at Stage32!
