Douglas Brown was born in Panama City, Panama, and attended the University of Texas, and graduated with a degree in Studio Art. He has worked as a graphic designer, illustrator, and storyboard artist since 2003. His latest ventures have been working as an illustrator for screenwriters, translating their scripts into graphic novels.
As a storyboard artist, Mr. Brown has worked on a wide variety of projects. He has done work for animated shorts, tv spots for local and national campaigns, short films, and a handful of independent films. As Mr. Brown continues to grow and refine his craft, he is constantly looking for projects to push his skills.
Aside from storyboards, Mr.Brown is also an accomplished illustrator who has created posters, book covers, and album covers. Mr. Brown's love for comics has led him to write and illustrate several graphic novels for independent publishers. He is currently writing and illustrating "Stormie: Singer. Songwriter. Badass." is a graphic novel series he hopes to bring to life through television or a streaming service.
