It's about networking and getting your name in front of the Judges plus because it is AT&T there is a little notoriety behind it!
BIG HUGE ASK! I NEED HELP IN LA!
But I am participating in the AT&T Create A Thon and putting together a group of volunteers who want to team with me in LA on October the 13 and 14th.
I need a DP(preferably someone who has experience with guerilla-style filmmaking because we will need to work insanely quickly and produce consistently high-quality shots).
I need a few Grip/electric/gaffer types who can work fast, a few PAs, a Creative Service Director (It's what I call my combination 2nd A/C, Continuity Captian, 1st AD, Script Supe, and Clap Board). If you have some equipment please, please help!
I need a producer/Location Managing genius (or a few) whom have relationships and some experience working in and around LA.
I need an editor extraordinaire who can also work incredibly fast with the 4K workflow. (meaning they have the 4k proxy workflow down, the equipment, memory space, and fast enough processor to edit, color, finalize and deliver 4K footage).
I need on set DIT who can take the file of off card on to hard drives.
I also need a van and/or a teamster/PA who can run the smaller hard drives back to the editor to download footage and then back again from the set to post. Also, we will be moving and need the cast/crew/company moved safely yet efficiently.
And I also need as much help as possible from any who can just be there to help and where a plethora of hats to help get things done safely, extremely efficiently and so that it is a fun experience and not any one person is burden down with tasks.
Also if anyone in or near LA has the equipment they wouldn't mind letting us use. Anything and Everything helps!
