About the job
Seeking a producer for a 20-minute short film about a privileged 10-year-old boy growing up in Brooklyn and his meeting with his tutor who is prepping him for an entrance exam to an elite school. Meanwhile, the boy just wants to be a kid. He begins to question the very nature of why they are studying the subjects they're studying and the significance (or lack thereof) of these subjects on his future as an adult. It's a story about listening to yourself and not becoming a conformist, as both the boy and his tutor learn to listen to their hearts and not be influenced by the opinions and wishes of others.
