Gratwick is seeking a Chief Technology Officer (CTO) to lead our technology strategy and innovation initiatives. This is a unique opportunity to shape the technical direction of an entertainment startup at the intersection of AI and content creation.

ABOUT THE ROLE:

As CTO, you will define and execute our technology roadmap, build and lead the engineering team, and drive innovation across our platform. You'll work closely with the CEO and other executives to translate business objectives into technical solutions.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Define and execute the company's technology vision and strategy

• Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing engineering team

• Architect scalable, secure systems for content creation and distribution

• Evaluate and implement emerging technologies, particularly AI/ML

• Manage technical partnerships and vendor relationships

• Ensure cybersecurity and data privacy compliance

• Optimize development processes and engineering culture

REQUIREMENTS:

• 10+ years of software engineering experience, with 5+ years in leadership

• Proven track record building and scaling technology teams

• Deep expertise in cloud architecture (AWS/GCP/Azure)

• Experience with AI/ML technologies and implementations

• Background in media, entertainment, or content platforms preferred

• Strong communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences

• BS/MS in Computer Science or related field

COMPENSATION:

This is an equity-based position with significant ownership stake. Cash compensation will be implemented as the company scales. Ideal for entrepreneurial technology leaders excited about building something from the ground up.
