Title: Writer Needed for Tech Thriller Miniseries (Africa-Based)

Job Description:

I am currently developing a tech thriller miniseries set in Africa and I am looking to collaborate with a writer to help bring the project to life.

The series explores themes around technology, power, and society within an African context, blending suspense, character-driven storytelling, and grounded realism.

At the moment, I have a pitch deck in place. I am looking for a writer who can come on board to help develop a full series treatment and write a strong pilot script.

What I’m Looking For:

  • A writer with a strong voice and experience in thriller or drama
  • Someone who understands pacing, tension, and character development
  • Interest in African stories, settings, or perspectives is a strong plus
  • Open to collaboration and development process

Scope of Work:

  • Expand the existing concept into a detailed series treatment
  • Develop characters, arcs, and world-building
  • Write the pilot episode script

Collaboration: This is a development-stage project, and I am looking for a writer who is interested in building something meaningful together. Ideally, this will be a collaborative process with potential for a longer-term partnership as the project moves forward.

Kristina Dukanac

Dear Elvis

This sounds like a very compelling and timely concept — especially the intersection of technology, power, and society within an African context. The focus on grounded realism and character-driven tension really resonates with me.

I’m a writer with a strong focus on emotionally driven drama and thriller storytelling. I’m currently developing my own series in the family crime drama space, where I explore themes of power, responsibility, and social dynamics through complex character arcs.

I’d be very interested in contributing to the development of a project like this — particularly in shaping character depth, narrative tension, and a strong pilot foundation. I’d love to connect and learn more about your vision and the current development stage.
