Fargoing Films is developing a 10-episode limited series based on the true story of the first Chinese nationals ever designated as CPOTs. This is the same elite classification historically reserved for Pablo Escobar and El Chapo. Fewer than 200 people in history have ever received this designation.
The series follows Daniel Ceron, who orchestrated North America's largest fentanyl operation from inside prison. Built around a redemption arc that gives the story genuine emotional weight, this project carries rare crossover appeal to both crime and faith-based audiences.
Life rights are secured. This is historically significant material with a built-in dual market.
We are looking for an experienced Co- Executive Producer to collaborate on the full 10-episode series. Remote producers are welcome until we move to production. I am looking for a producer to be with us all the way through post production. However, this is a true collaborative partnership. The project's founder will be actively involved in the process, contributing to story concepts, character development, and creative direction throughout. If you thrive in close creative collaboration with a producer who is deeply invested in the material, we want to hear from you.
PAYMENT IS DEFFERRED UNTIL FINANCING IS SECURED. WE ARENT LOOKING FOR A HANDOUT WE ARE LOOKING FOR A PARTNER WHO RECOGNIZES THE PROJECT POTENTIAL.
Robert,
I’m excited to submit my interest in this project, as it powerfully aligns with my professional background and creative work. With over 20 years of experience in the addiction and mental health field,, particularly within correctional facilities, I bring a depth of real-world insight into the complexities of fentanyl use, incarceration, and the human stories that exist within these systems. My work has given me direct exposure to the psychological, emotional, and environmental factors that shape these narratives, allowing me to contribute an authentic and informed perspective to a story of this magnitude.
In addition to my clinical and field experience, I have spent over two decades in the film and performing arts industry as a director, producer, performer, and drama therapy practitioner. I’ve worked closely with actors on character development, emotional expression, and storytelling, bridging the gap between lived experience and compelling on-screen portrayal. This dual background positions me to contribute not only to the accuracy and integrity of the story, but also to its creative direction, character depth, and overall production flow. I am confident in my ability to collaborate effectively within a production team while helping bring a grounded, impactful, and socially relevant story to life.
This is exciting: when does this project begin?
Look forward to connecting soon.
