About Ron

Mr. Goldberg's experience has been focused in Scenic Design and Fabrication in the motion picture industry. He's used SketchUp, the Adobe Creative Suite and free hand skills to develop concept art for characters, sets, props and visual FX and has worked on film and video productions.

Ron setup Grimm Industries a scenic design and fabrication company in New Orleans in 2013 to support the growing theater and film industry here in the Greater New Orleans area. Leveraging traditional carpentry and new technologies like 3D Modelling and 3D printing we bring our customers visions to life.

Ron's worked in various genres and time periods, horror, sci-fi, and action films. As Production Designer Ron's responsibilities have been to coordinate the entire Art Dept, set dressing, props, Visual FX and FX make-up. Ron coordinated with various other departments and contractors like armorers, CGI directors and stunt personnel.

Retreat! (2016)
