Born in Canada, mum and dad come from South Africa, moved to the States and became a Canadian-American-South African with a BA in Theatre/Acting and an MFA in Creative Writing/Screenwriting. Thinking about getting a PhD just for the hell of it. No. No, I'm not. That's not true. I"m done with school. But Dr. Houseman does sound nice. Produced and published playwright, screenwriter, and writer of other stuff. (Like poetry, right? But who likes poetry, let alone reads it these days? Geez, not me. Ha!) Freelance work includes critical evaluations/covers of new works. Worked as an actor (stage and film), artistic director (film), stuntman, toured with the comedy improv group Caution Slow Children At Play, produced "Staged Reading with High Altitude and Guinness" events (based in Colorado at 9,500 feet and, yep, that's above sea level), don't mind a little DJ/MC work on the side (did so many weddings I lost count).
Unique traits: Dark comedic sense of humor. Nonconformist. Lover of Guinness.
