About Heath

Born in Canada, raised by South African parents, moved to the States and became a Canadian-American-South African. BA in Theatre, MFA in Creative Writing/Screenwriting, thinking about getting a PhD just for the hell of it. Produced and published playwright, author and poet. Stage and film actor. “Burning Vonnegut” won The Limelight Theatre’s 2nd Annual Playwright Festival. Three screenplays have placed as Second Rounders at the Austin Film Festival: “Killing Santa," “Trident," and "The Lost Vagina." Freelance work includes critical evaluations/covers of new works for the Los Angeles Theatre Center, Bifrost Pictures, a motley crew of authors and dreamers and marketing companies like TM Creative Direction Inc. Worked as a stuntman, toured with the comedy improv group Caution Slow Children At Play, produced "Staged Reading with Guinness" events, don't mind a little DJ/MC work on the side.

Unique traits: Dark comedic sense of humor. Nonconformist. Lover of Guinness.
