About James

Active in post production for over 25 years. Currently, Instructional Media Manager for Northwestern Health Sciences University. Former Avid ACI and Apple ACT for MSB and IPR's DV program. Educated at Full Sail and AFI, I earned my MFA in Film from VCFA and BFA in Digital Media from MSB. Director-editor work includes L.A. and Minneapolis projects ranging from trailers, promos, epk's, commercials and music videos, to broadcast for NBC, FOX and ABC networks. In addition to documentary work for Prince and Virgin Records, I've worked with a wide range of creative producers and directors and am committed to demystifying and reinterpreting story, direction and editorial. Economy and intuitive, rhythmic timing set me apart as a director-editor. Multiple Telly awards including Outkast’s Stankonia. Corporate clients include Best Buy, Allianz and Splice.
