About Jeanette

Jeanette Milio is a producer and financier of film and television content. She has been involved in projects exceeding a production volume of $250 million to date, that have been distributed worldwide by studios like Paramount, Sony, and Lionsgate, networks like HBO, ABC, TLC, and Discovery, and streamers like Netflix and Amazon. Jeanette created a writers’ program in Los Angeles training European writers to create films and TV series for the global marketplace. Her recently released book, ENTERTAINMENT FINANCE TODAY, is a practical guide on how to finance content for today's marketplace.
Over twenty-five years and working across three continents, Jeanette has been involved in the production of over 500 hours of film and television programs, including Academy Award® winning talent in front of and behind the camera.
Born and raised in Germany, Jeanette Milio started her career working with leading German network stations, including RTL Television, ADR, WDR, and PRO SIEBEN/ SAT1 producing game shows, documentary series, scripted prime-time series, and feature films. After immigrating to the U.S. Jeanette focused on the co-production and financing aspects of more than 50 scripted and non-scripted projects that have been distributed by studios, networks, and streamers, and with over 150 international distributors.
As a financier, Jeanette worked with equity investment funds, entertainment banks such as Comerica and Mercantile, and ran Far East National Bank’s media fund. In 2009, Jeanette launched her own fund that financed theatrical features with a production volume of over $60 million and starring Academy Award actors including Halle Berry, Forrest Whitaker, Adrien Brody, Mickey Rourke, as well as name actors like Jason Statham, Alexander Skarsgard, Curtis Jackson, David Zayas, and Michael Shannon, among others.
Jeanette’s company Alliance Cinema is a film and television finance and production company located in Beverly Hills and Cologne, Germany. The company produces commercial scripted and non-scripted content, which is successfully distributed worldwide.
Jeanette is represented by The Gersh Agency as a writer and producer, she is a member of the Producer’s Council for The Producers Guild of America and the Cannes Film Festival Producer’s Network.
Teaching is her passion, and she enjoys being a part of the UCLAx Entertainment Studies Program, working with Stage32 and Netflix, with the PGA, and speaking on panels at leading film festivals worldwide. She is also a consultant for media investment funds and investors, producers, and writers in helping them navigate through the industry’s business efficiently.
Jeanette B. Milio holds a bachelor’s degree in Business (Fachhochschule Cologne) and studied screenplay writing (USC, Los Angeles). She resides in California with her husband and their three children.

This accomplishment brings him into the company of Dr. Watson, an early practitioner of autopsies, for the first time. Together, they start an investigation into the murder of several crimelords and become convinced that Moriarty is alive and behind a plot to organize drug dealing. Given that Moriarty is supposedly dead, Holmes finds it hard to convince Inspector Lestrade.
