About Jojo

Jojo Erholtz is an award winning Finnish director/screenwriter and creative film editor based in LA. She is currently enrolled at the American Film Institute Conservatory, studying an MFA in Directing. She has a wide experience in editing fiction, documentary and animation, as well as art films and multi-channel video installations. In her directing work she aims to explore human psychology, absurdness in life, representation of women on screen and LGBT themes. Her recent short film Daydream won the Best Writing Award at Underwire Film Festival in 2016. In 2012, Jojo won a BAFTA Scotland New Talent Award for Best Editor for a RCS graduation short The Taxidermist.
