About Kevin

Kevin Wendell Jones is a native of Baltimore, Maryland. He is an award winning filmmaker, composer, sound designer, musician and VFX generalist who won international recognition through his work.
He started playing flute at age 7 and then transitioned to piano at the tender age of 9. At 12 entered into Johns Hopkins Peabody Conservatory to studio piano and music theory.
He went to school at New York Institute of Photography where he developed his skills in black and white, portraits, events and nature.
He was awarded Editors Choice Celebrated Photographer Award by the International Library of Photography.
In 2015, he teamed up with Black Rose Dagger Films headed by Tia Cherie Polite and worked as her cinematographer, composer, sound designer and general VFX artist.
