About Lara

I have over 21 years experience as a screenwriter in the British, US and global film and television industries. After graduating film school in London I moved to Los Angeles to become Director of Development for Codikow Films. After several years I left to pursue my writing career, while still continuing to consult and script doctor feature screenplays for production companies across the globe. Since returning to the UK in 2002, I have worked consistently as a commissioned screenwriter on film scripts and British TV drama. I have had 2 independent features films produced and theatrically released and have adapted graphic novels, novels, and written several bio pics. Among many of my projects, I've written a romantic comedy screenplay for Eon (James Bond), developed a TV pilot for a Russian/British co-production, a Thriller feature script for Film Partners Media. Recently I have completed a feature bio pic set to be shot in Brazil Spring 2018. I also run a very successful script consultant website and lecture regularly at University level in the art of screenwriting.

I have extensive experience as a commissioned screenwriter, working with producers and directors to turn their ideas into unique, innovative and exceptional screenplays for feature and television production. My driving passion is to bring my invaluable insight and talent to take screenplays past the ordinary into the extraordinary.
