About Laura

Laura González (Uruguay) is a writer, director and producer. A Berlinale Talent Alum 2014 and a Filmworks Programme Alum (UK, 2012). She founded La Uruguaya Films and produced several short films, selected at more than 100 festivals worldwide. She developed her Opera Prima "Milonga" (2023) with Berlinale Winner Paulina García ("Gloria" by Oscar Winner Sebastián Lelio).
