About Lea

Lea Pfandler is an international actor, writer, and filmmaker. Being Swiss by passport, but grown up all over the globe, she considers herself a citizen of the world speaking multiple languages. She started writing stories and scripts, and creating and drawing comics at the age of six. After having studied film at the University of Zurich and receiving her BFA in Acting in Germany, she moved back to the United States to study Acting under Bill Esper at the William Esper Studio in NYC. Lea has performed in Europe including at the Maag Music Hall Zurich in the original Swiss work ‘Altweiberfrühling’, adapted from the major motion picture 'Die Herbstzeitlosen', in the 'The Crucible' at the Theater Ulm in Germany, and was one of the leads in “Hannah and Hanna”, which was performed extensively on several stages in Germany. Lea was also seen on National TV in the crime show 'Der Bestatter' and the TV film 'Das alte Haus' in Switzerland. She has written multiple short films, two of which (‘A Cycle’ and ‘Old Habits Die Hard’) she has produced and acted in. Lea also co-wrote the short film ‘Call The Cobbs’ made under the International 72H film challenge by Four Points Film Project, which made it into the Top 15 list. She is currently working on two feature films and is the founder of her production company LeaPVision Productions.
