About Liam

The Basics

Hello, my name is Liam Touhey. I’m 16 years old and based in the south of the United Kingdom. In 2010, when I was 11 years old, I was out walking the dog and spotted a grass hopper in the field. I took picture of it using my old Nokia phone and after later inspection was actually very pleased how it looked. From that point on I started to grow more and more interested in the world photography.

My Current Situation

I’m currently in college studying for my extended diploma in Digital Arts. Once I’ve finished I’d like to undertake an apprenticeship abroad for two years, followed by university and then finally take a few years out for traveling the world. Whilst I am also undertaking a number of freelance work with several clients, I'm currently acting as Barties Presents' official photographer and videographer.

The Future
As time progresses, I'd like to move away from the world of photography and grow closer to cinematography, where I aim to finally end up as a director of photography. I’d also like to specialise in directing and producing music videos.

I've worked on numerous short films, feature films and created my own, including music videos for The Eden Project and Youtube sensation's Superwoman: World Tour Documentary. (A full portfolio can be found on my website here: )
