Lorraine (Lorrie) Marie Bacon was born in Holyoke, MA on April 2, 1974, but moved to California at the age of 2 where she grew up in Santa Maria. Ever since she could remember, Lorrie wanted to act and perform. She started acting at the age of 9, in her first play in a small role, and loved every minute of the excitement, energy and bright lights in her eyes. From that moment, the acting bug was cultivated and she never turned back. When Lorrie was 16, her family made a move up to a very small northern California town, Eureka. Little did Lorrie know that her dreams of being an actress would begin. Being in a strange town among strangers, she felt the need to find a place to fit in and belong. She signed up for a theatre class, joined the Drama Club and joined the chorus. She began getting cast in musicals, comedies and her first drama, "The Grapes of Wrath" as Rose of Sharon. After she graduated from high school in 1992, she began performing in area community theaters. She continued doing as much theatre as possible, building a great theatre resume. She ventured away from musical theatre and began focusing on straight plays and comedies. In 1996 she joined an improv group called RATS (Redwood Area Theatre Sports). She also worked with a local theatre company that solely performed new work plays, called World Premier Theatre/Plays in Progress (PIP). This is where Lorrie learned the most about her craft and honed her skills. Through her experiences at PIP, she became an even more dedicated, serious, passionate actress. Presently, Lorrie resides on the east coast in a western Massachusetts town, East Longmeadow. She continues to do theatre and now adds film to her resume with both feature and short films and three web series. She's also added local commercials, radio spots and a music video.
